The greatest Shortcut

The industry is full of gimmicks and diet hacks for you to spend your money on to get you to your goals.

So, what is the greatest industry shortcut to getting results.

Not buying into them.

Waist trainers, fat burners, detox drinks, juice cleanses, sweat catalysts, extreme diets, weight loss pills, etc. The industry manipulates the vulnerability of those desperate to reach their goals quickly and the mass amount of conflicting and inaccurate information available. At best, these companies are unintentionally selling you on false promises, at best, they know the damage they cause and don't care.

And it's really hard. You see these extremely fit, often times knowledgeable people touting these products like they are magic beans. And honestly we want these to work. We would love shortcuts to help our clients and followers achieve their greatest success. But many of them just don't pan out.

You don't need to eat only fruit and juice, you don't need to wear a waist trainer (no documented evidence of its efficacy), take a million supplements you could easily fit into your diet, and you do not need to take 2-3 classes a day to see results.

Often times the lack of results is from a misunderstanding of nutrition and exercise. I already covered recoverability threshold, so if you haven't read it I would recommend you do so. But general strength training and a strong nutrition program (especially both geared specifically toward you) IS the shortcut. As much as it may feel like it isn't a shortcut at all.

If you are going to make investments, make it into a professional, or into scientific study, not heaps of gimmicks that offer the world with photoshopped and light edited results. Or with models and fitness influencers who look the way they do with no relation to the products or short cuts talked about.

I am not saying supplements aren't helpful, they can be. But for instance, fat burners are just caffeine pills (and dangerous). WaistBCAAs can be fulfilled in a diet with efficient protein, but are touted as the be all supplement. Intake adequate protein (whole foods or supplement) and you don't really need them. Magnesium on the other hand, is found to have immeasurable benefits and a supplement worth researching to implement for muscle recovery, migraines/headaches, sleep aid, maintain blood sugar, and aiding anxiety.

So if you really want success, learn about the nutrition going into your body. Learn and intake adequate protein and nutrients. Weight train, implement activity and cardio into your life. Take your deficit in cycles, not as a permanent place. Ensure your hormone health is cared for, and work to nourish your body for all it is, not punish it for what you think that it should be.
